Mabel Normand's website here, is focused on providing information on the life and career of the late Miss Mabel Normand premiere comedienne of the silent screen, that is truthful and presented with integrity and fairness in an unbiased way...recognising the artistic contribution made by Miss Normand as one of the pioneers of motion pictures and acknowledging her gifts as actress,director and producer of film. Miss Normand has sadly been overlooked for her importance and contribution to film comedy as well as her acting technique unique only to her performances.

Mabel Normand's private life and career contributions have sadly been exploited due to her early and premature death in February 1930 (of tuberculosis). Sadly she has been overlooked and forgotten despite her historic importance to the development of film comedy. The tragic in her life has been enormously overplayed and magnified to a ridiculous proportion to the point of such outrageous nonsense that this site has been developed to counter this defamation to her character and person.

Mabel Normand has been written about in the press,and in a variety of books and magazines in every language known. The original material produced in her life time has been blown out of all recognition when read today. It has been added onto with opinion and poppycock,much invented and created in the minds of the writer in order to feather their nest. To degrade Mabel Normand's memory and reputation as a person who once lived kindly and with the ambition to make the world laugh,seems the lasting word of these dreadful leeches of despair who have written about this woman whom they never knew.
